Tour Summary
A tour of the Western part of Korea brings you great cuisine and attractive scenery. This Western Korea 7 Days tour will present you with the best food of Korea as well as a delightful cultural experience discovering famous sites. Experienced guides will escort you throughout this food and culture-rich trip.
Day 1 - Arrive in Seoul (Thursday or Friday)
Upon arrival at Incheon International Airport, you will meet our representative with name board at airport exit. We will assist you to board a pre-reserved vehicle and then transfer to hotel by a local driver on private basis. After check in, the rest of the day is free at leisure on your own.

Day 2 - Seoul - Gongju - Daejeon
After breakfast, meet tour guide at hotel. Leave for Gongju the ancient capital of Baekje Kingdom. Experience the tea ceremony with a Buddhist monk at Magoksa Temple, a representative temple surrounded by a mountain and rivers in Chungcheongnam-do Province. Next, visit the Tomb of Muryeong King with the wall painting drawn on the number six tomb. Then continue to Gongsanseong Fortress, a mountain castle which was established during the Baekje Period. Transfer to Daejeon. After dinner, check in hotel and rest of the day is at leisure.

Day 3 - Daejeon - Jeonju - Jinan - Gwangju
After breakfast, leave for Jeonju and visit Jeonju Hanok Village with over 800 traditional Korea houses. After Jeonju Bibimbab lunch at local restaurant, visit Tapsa Temple at Mt Maisan, famous for the over 80 stone pagodas built by Lee Gapyong, a retired scholar. Then leave for Gwangju for hotel check in.

Day 4 - Gwangju - Boseong - Suncheon - Yeosu
After breakfast, head to Boseong Tea Plantation that is very beautiful, full of green tea fields and cedar trees. Next, visit Naganeupseong Folk Village where you can observe the daily dwellings indigenous to the south provincial area. Then explore Suncheonman Bay Ecological Park, thickly covered with reeds taller than a full-grown man, and then stop by Yongsan Observatory to see the bay"s beautiful view. For the last stop of the day, visit Suncheon Bay Eco-Museum, established to provide a research & education facility to preserve the area"s natural habitats. After dinner, check in hotel and rest of day is at leisure.

Day 5 - Yeosu - Jinju - Seoul
After breakfast, take a ferry from Yeosu to Odongdo Island where you can simply walk along the breakwater with 70 species of wild flowers. Next, visit Jinjuseong Fortress which is historically linked to the Japanese invasion in 1592.

Day 6 - Full Day Seoul Highlights Tour
After breakfast, meet up with tour guide at hotel lobby for your Seoul Tour. Visit Gwanghwamun Gate, the main gate founded by the first king of the Joseon Dynasty and enjoy the Royal Guard Changing Ceremony. Next, explore Gyeongbokgung Palace (Changdeokgung Palace on Tuesday), arguably the most beautiful and the grandest of all five palaces. Then pass by Blue house, also called Cheong Wa Dae, the presidential residence and stop by Gingseng shopping center. After lunch, head to Myeongdong, one of the busiest places in Seoul and among Korea"s premier shopping destinations. Then explore Namsan Hanok Village (Bukchon Hanok Village or Insadong on Monday) where there are five restored traditional Korean houses and a pavilion, a pond and a time capsule. Lastly, we will visit North Seoul Tower, offering panoramic views of Seoul and the surrounding areas. After the tour, you will be transferred to your hotel.

Day 7 - Departure
After breakfast, spend some time till met and transferred to Incheon International Airport by a local driver on private basis for your flight to next destination**. (Solo travellers should take an Airport Limousine bus at approx $15.)
